JCSS Foundation Donates $5,000 To GSES Gizmos

The Jackson County School System Foundation, through a partnership with Peach State Federal Credit Union, made a donation of $5,000 to the Gum Springs Elementary School Gizmos, a LEGO League Robotics Team. The donation was made to support the team's trip in June to the Waffle Championship in Worcester, Mass. for an international competition.

The Gizmos are in just their third season of competition and earned the opportunity to compete on the international stage, alongside approximately 100 teams from around the United States and across the world.
