Exchange Bank Makes $30,000 Pledge to JCSS Foundation
Exchange Bank has pledged a $30,000 sponsorship to the Jackson County School System Foundation, with the contribution to be distributed over a three-year period.
The Jackson County School System Foundation, established in May 2025, is a non-profit organization that supports educational initiatives throughout the school system. The Foundation provides grants to educators, scholarships to students, and funding for programs and initiatives benefiting schools and the Jackson County community.
“Education plays an important role in the long-term strength of a community, and we are proud to support the work being done through the Jackson County School System Foundation,” said Tripp Conner, senior vice president and Braselton market president for Exchange Bank. “As Exchange Bank continues to become part of the Jackson County community, we want to build relationships and invest in organizations that are creating opportunities for local students, educators and families.”
The Foundation awards grants to Jackson County School System staff in areas including literacy, STEM and STEAM education, career, technical and agricultural education, physical education, visual and performing arts, and community engagement. It also provides scholarships to graduating seniors and alumni pursuing post-secondary education.
“We are incredibly grateful to Exchange Bank for making this commitment to the JCSS Foundation,” said Edward Hooper, director of public relations and communications for the Jackson County School System. “Support from community partners allows the Foundation to expand opportunities for our students and staff and helps us continue building programs that directly benefit our schools. A commitment of this size will have an impact well beyond a single school year, and we appreciate Exchange Bank investing in the future of Jackson County.”
